Warner Says ‘No’ To US Department Of Justice A Second Time, This West Virginia Morning

Listen

On this West Virginia Morning, Secretary of State Kris Warner said his office has received a second request from the U.S. Department of Justice seeking unredacted information on hundreds of thousands of registered voters in this state. That includes names, dates of birth, residential addresses, driver’s license numbers and the last four digits of social security numbers. Warner recently sat down with Assistant News Director Maria Young to discuss why he’s not turning that information over.

Also, high school students from all over the state came to the capitol Tuesday, asking legislators to put money in the budget for smoking cessation programs.
